He got up!<\/b><\/h1>\n

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus are massively important for us all. Jesus continually said He would have to die, be buried and then rise again from the dead. This must have been a difficult thing to understand for His disciples.<\/p>\n

From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.<\/i><\/b> – Matthew 19:21<\/p>\n

In fact Jesus made it clear that the only sign He would give is that of Jonah and would spend three days and three nights in the cold tomb.<\/p>\n

But He answered and said to them, \u201cAn evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40\u00a0For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
