Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.\u00a0<\/b>– Hebrews 13:8<\/p>\n
Change can be a good thing, those in Christ are all changing to be more like Christ everyday as we remain in His word. But in this world where everything is in a constant state of change, it\u2019s good to know that something which was good, is still good and will always be good, because Jesus never changes.<\/p>\n
We can take comfort that He is still as powerful and creative as He was in the beginning and all through creation.<\/p>\n
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.\u00a0<\/b>– John 1:1-5<\/p>\n
Becoming a man and walking the earth did not stop Christ Jesus being the word, nor did it diminish His power, even when He did not choose to display the fullness of it.<\/p>\n
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.\u00a0<\/b>– John 1:14.<\/p>\n
Jesus was the word before He came to earth, Jesus still is the word and will be forever. He is still dependable. He is still all powerful and we should still stand in awe of Him.<\/p>\n
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,<\/b><\/p>\n
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.<\/b><\/p>\n
7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses.<\/b><\/p>\n
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.<\/b><\/p>\n
9 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.\u00a0<\/b>– Psalm 33:6-9<\/p>\n
Whatever changes you are facing today, both good and bad. Jesus is still the same. His power is the same and He will be with you in the same way He was with the saints of old, because He promises to be with you as you go.<\/p>\n
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.\u201d Amen.<\/b>\u00a0– Matthew 28:19,20<\/p>\n
This same all powerful Jesus promises to be with you always, to the very end, in the same power He has always had. He is the never changing word. You can rely on Him because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.<\/p>\n
